Dr Maya Al Hawary

Dr Maya Al Hawary is the first Arab Emirati doctor in smart educational leadership and emotional intelligence and its impact on leadership in the Middle East and North Africa region. She was selected by the Ministry of Tolerance among 80 international writers and creators, and among 50 influential figures in Dubai, for the year 2024, and is an Ambassador of Positive Digital Citizenship for the UAE. Dr Maya has authored several books including ‘Towards Confident Femininity’ (2022), ‘You Lead Your Life’ (2021, translated in both English and Arabic) and ‘Secrets of Renewal in the Time of Covid 2020’, and is a weekly columnist in Sayidaty magazine and Al Khaleej newspaper. She is Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Carmel School, and a Professional Development Consultant who has trained over 1000 hours for government employees across the UAE in the past two years. She owns Maya Al Hawary Abayas, and prepared and presented her own program on YouTube – the #Rukn_Maya Podcast.
